HP Velotechnik manufactures several recumbent models based on what you, the customer is in need of.

Firstly there is the Spirit model which is small and relatively light, featuring an upright sitting position and rear suspension.

Next comes the GrassHopper, which is an introduction into the sportier, slicker recumbents and an upgrade from the Spirit. Where the Spirit sports and upright sitting position, the GrassHopper features a more laid back sitting position. For 2008 the GrassHopper fx model comes in a foldable trim, which allows you to fold the recumbent for more convenient storage or transportation.

Street Machine is the next in light of HP Velotechnik recumbents. The sitting position is similar to the GrassHopper with the main distinction being the large rear wheel. It features a rear suspension and comes in two trims, the "Gran turismo" and "Gran turismo evoluzione". With the first of the two featuring only under seat steering while the later features both, under seat and overhand steering setups. All of the Street Machine recumbents can be equipped with a myriad of options.

Speedmachine is the sportiest of the HP recumbent selection. It is made with a purpose of going fast. It features a more aggressive frame design with the laid back sitting position for better aerodynamics. It is possible to order one with either under seat or handle bar type steering mechanisms, and of corse like its brethren it can be ordered with many options and accessories.
